Sudafed XyloSpray HA contains hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt as an excipient, which protects and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.
Sudafed XyloSpray HA is intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Indications
Sudafed XyloSpray HA reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa:
- in acute inflammation of the mucous membrane,
- in vasomotor inflammation of the mucous membrane
- and in allergic rhinitis.
Facilitates the drainage of secretions in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and in inflammation of the Eustachian tube of the middle ear associated with colds.
Active substance: Xylometazoline hydrochloride
Composition
| 1 ml of Sudafed XyloSpray HA solution contains: | 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride. |
| The other ingredients are: sodium hyaluronate, sorbitol, glycerol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections. |
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Sudafed XyloSpray HA is intended for intranasal administration only (also in inflammation of the Eustachian tube).
Adults and children over 6 years of age:
1 spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily.
Do not administer more than 3 sprays into each nostril per day.
Do not use in infants or children under 6 years of age.
Do not use higher doses than recommended.
Sudafed XyloSpray HA should not be used for longer than 7 days, unless your doctor recommends otherwise.
You can start using the medicine again after a break of a few days.
For the duration of use in children, consult your doctor.
For hygienic reasons, one medicine package should be used by only one patient.
Contraindications
When not to use Sudafed XyloSpray HA:
- if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- in patients after removal of the pituitary gland and other surgical procedures involving exposure of the dura mater.
Contents: The Sudafed XyloSpray HA packaging consists of a white HDPE bottle with a dosing pump (3K system), containing 10 ml of solution, in a cardboard box.
