Indications

Sinupret® is used as a supportive treatment in acute and chronic sinusitis.

Composition

• The active substances of the drug are: gentian root, primrose flower with calyx, sorrel herb, elderberry flower, verbena herb.
• Other ingredients of the medicine are: purified water.
• Coated tablet core ingredients: potato starch; colloidal anhydrous silica; purified water; lactose monohydrate; gelatin; sorbitol; stearic acid.
• Coated tablet coating ingredients: calcium carbonate; glucose syrup (dry); green varnish (quinoline yellow E104, indigo carmine E132); yellow-green varnish (quinoline yellow E104, indigo carmine E132); light magnesium oxide; corn starch; modified corn starch; Montan wax; anhydrous sodium carbonate; copolymer of 2-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate, butylmethacrylate and methylmethacrylate; povidone K 25; virgin castor oil, refined; sucrose; shellac; talc

Dosage

The usual dose of Sinupret® is:

• Adults: orally, usually 2 coated tablets 3 times a day.
• School children (from 6 years): orally, usually 1 coated tablet 3 times a day. In special cases, the dose can be doubled.
• The tablets should be swallowed whole with a small amount of water.
• When using Sinupret?, as with other drugs with secretolytic action, it is recommended to drink more fluids.

Contraindications

• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, primrose flower or calyx, sorrel herb, elderberry flower, verbena herb or any of the other ingredients of Sinupret®,
• if you have stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers or gastric hyperacidity.
• Caution should be exercised when using the drug during pregnancy. Do not use while breastfeeding.
