Indications
Sinecod in the form of syrup is used in the symptomatic treatment of cough of various origins.
Active substance: Butamirati citras
Composition
Active substance | One ml of syrup contains 1.5 mg of butamirate citrate. |
Other ingredients | sorbitol 70% solution, sodium saccharin, vanillin, benzoic acid, ethanol 96% v/v, glycerol, sodium hydroxide 30% w/w solution, purified water |
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use Sinecod for longer than 5-7 days without consulting your doctor.
The medicine should be administered orally.
The medicine package comes with a measuring cup allowing you to measure 5 ml, 10 ml and 15 ml of syrup.
The syrup measuring cup should be washed and dried after each use.
The usual dose is:
- Children aged 3 to 6 years: 5 ml of syrup three times a day;
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: 10 ml of syrup three times a day
- Adolescents over 12 years of age: 15 ml of syrup three times a day
- Adults: 15 ml of syrup four times a day.
- Sinecod syrup should not be used in children under 3 years of age.
