Indications for use:
Symptomatic treatment of cough of various origins.
Active substance: Butamirati citras
Composition
The active substance of Sinecod is butamirate citrate. One ml of syrup contains 1.5 mg of butamirate citrate.
Other ingredients are: sorbitol 70% solution, sodium saccharin, vanillin, benzoic acid, ethanol 96% v/v, glycerol, sodium hydroxide 30% w/w solution, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use Sinecod for longer than 5-7 days without consulting your doctor.
The medicine should be administered orally.
The medicine package comes with a measuring cup that allows you to measure 5 ml, 10 ml and 15 ml of syrup.
The measuring cup for dosing the syrup should be washed and dried after each use.
The usual dose is:
Children aged 3 to 6 years: 5 ml of syrup three times a day;
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 10 ml of syrup three times a day
Adolescents over 12 years: 15 ml of syrup three times a day
Adults: 15 ml of syrup four times a day.
Sinecod syrup should not be used in children under 3 years of age.
If you use more than the recommended dose of Sinecod:
If you use more than the recommended dose of the drug, the following symptoms may occur: drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness and low blood pressure.
If you use more than the recommended dose of the drug, contact your doctor immediately.
If you forget to take Sinecod:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Contraindications
When not to use Sinecod
- if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Contents: The package contains 100 ml of syrup.
