Rutinoscorbin, 210 coated tablets

Rutinoscorbin is a drug with the combined action of rutoside and vitamin C (ascorbic acid).

• Rutoside strengthens blood vessels and reduces their permeability. It also protects vitamin C from oxidation, so it retains its properties longer.
• Vitamin C has antioxidant properties. It is essential in many metabolic processes, including the formation of collagen and hemoglobin, and facilitates the absorption of iron.

• in states of ascorbic acid deficiency,
• in conditions of increased demand for ascorbic acid (colds, viral infections including flu),
• helpful in excessive vascular permeability.

The active substances of the drug are: rutoside and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). One tablet contains 25 mg of rutoside and 100 mg of ascorbic acid.

The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, sucrose, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, magnesium stearate. The tablet coating contains: Opadry II 85F32876 Yellow (polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, quinoline yellow aluminum lake).

The recommended dose is:

• prophylactically: 1 to 2 tablets a day;
• in states of vitamin C deficiency: 1 to 2 tablets 2 to 4 times a day.
• In children under 6 years of age, Rutinoscorbin should be used as directed by a doctor.
• Do not use higher doses than recommended.
• The drug is administered orally.

• hypersensitivity to rutoside or ascorbic acid or to any of the excipients;
• oxalate stones and diseases associated with excessive iron accumulation (thalassemia, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia) or other conditions predisposing to excess iron in the body.
