Paracetamol Hasco Forte 240 mg/5 ml, oral suspension, 85 ml

Paracetamol Hasco Forte in the form of an oral suspension is an antipyretic and analgesic drug intended for use in infants and children. The active substance of the drug is paracetamol, which is an aniline derivative that has antipyretic and analgesic effects without anti-inflammatory effects.

• Fever and pain of various origins (e.g. after surgical procedures, pain associated with tooth eruption, mild or moderate headaches) and symptoms accompanying the body’s reaction to the vaccine (pain, fever, local reaction).
• In addition, the drug is used in infants from 0 to 3 months of age (weighing up to 4 kg) for the symptomatic treatment of fever lasting no longer than 3 days and mild to moderate pain.

The active substance is paracetamol. 5 ml of suspension contains 240 mg of paracetamol.

The other ingredients (excipients) are: sucrose, xanthan gum (E 415), citric acid monohydrate (E 330), sodium benzoate (E 211), sodium metabisulfite (E 223), natural strawberry flavor AR 2143 (contains natural aromatic substances, including d-limonene and propylene glycol), purified water.

• Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the average single dose of paracetamol is 10 mg to 15 mg per kilogram of body weight.
• If necessary, the dose may be repeated, not more often than every 4-6 hours, up to 4 times daily, i.e. a maximum of 60 mg/kilogram of body weight/day.
• Paracetamol Hasco Forte suspension contains twice the concentration of paracetamol than Paracetamol Hasco suspension.
• The drug is administered orally.
• Shake vigorously before use to obtain a uniform suspension.
