Nozoil – characteristics
Nozoil nasal spray prevents excessive drying of the nasal mucosa and the formation of crusts, and is also used in dry nasal mucosa with accompanying crusts. It moisturizes and lubricates the dry nasal mucosa and soothes its irritation. By acting in this way, it can prevent nosebleeds. Nozoil can be used whenever there is dry nasal mucosa and crusts caused by, for example:
- low humidity environments (e.g. air-conditioned rooms/cars, high mountains, hot weather)
- cold or flu
- long-term use of intranasal glucocorticosteroids or some medications used in acne treatment
- oxygen therapy or radiotherapy
- old age
- Nozoil may also be prescribed by your doctor to moisturize your nasal mucosa during the healing process following nose surgery.

How to use
- Spray 1-3 times into each nostril three times a day.
- The best results are obtained with at least 10 days of use.
- Before using Nozoil for the first time, you should “activate” the applicator by pressing down several times until oil squirts out.
- Do not unclog or enlarge the exit hole using sharp objects.
Contraindications
- There are no contraindications to the use of Nozoil.
- Since Nozoil should be administered in an upright position, caution should be exercised in young children (especially < 1 year of age).
Warnings
This is a medical device. Use it according to the instructions for use or label.
- Patients who have had certain types of head surgery (e.g., sinus or nasal tear duct surgery) should consult a doctor before using Nozoil.
- It is not recommended to take Nozoil just before bedtime.
- Nozoil should be administered at least one hour before bedtime.
