Natural eucalyptus oil Etja is obtained in the process of distillation of leaves and twigs of the eucalyptus tree. It is known primarily for its antibacterial and antiviral effects . It is successfully used in upper respiratory tract infections, catarrh, cough or rheumatic pain. It is also effective in soothing insect bites.
Eucalyptus oil has an expectorant effect, helps remove mucus from the bronchi and clears the nasal sinuses. It not only has anti-infective, anti-inflammatory and toning effects, but also helps eliminate cellulite and helps relieve premenstrual pain.
Indications
A refreshing and stimulating oil with versatile uses, it can be used for:
- massage,
- bath,
- inhalation of the upper respiratory tract,
- directly on insect bites,
- as an addition to throat sprays and toothpastes.
Action
Eucalyptus oil has antibacterial and antiviral effects. It is used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, runny nose, cough, sinusitis and rheumatic pain. It stimulates the body’s immune mechanisms. It relaxes the bronchi, liquefies accumulated mucus secretion and clears the paranasal sinuses. Excellent for insect bites (relieves itching), burns, wounds and blisters. It has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, disinfecting and deodorizing effects, which is why it is often used for air inhalation.
How to use
Massage: Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to 12 drops of carrier oil, then massage the body with circular hand movements.
Bath: Pour the oil solution /5 drops of essential oils, 10-15 drops of carrier oil/ into a bathtub filled with 1/3 of water at a temperature of about 35°C. Carefully spread the oil over the water surface.
Aromatization: just add a few drops of oil to a container of hot water, an air humidifier or an aroma burner.
Notes on use
- Do not take essential oils orally. (The property of natural oils is their ability to penetrate the skin.)
- Do not allow contact with eyes.
- Should be used with caution in small children, people prone to allergies and pregnant women.
- Some oils affect plastics.
- No more than five oils should be mixed.
- Do not apply undiluted oils directly to the skin.
- When using citrus oils, avoid exposing the skin to UV rays as this may cause discoloration.
Natural essential oils are essences of plants, so before use they should be diluted with vegetable oils in a ratio of 1:3. Natural oils can irritate, so be careful.
