TRIVIA
In the trade, the names of plants and essential oils made from them are treated quite lightly. Common names are very often used, which can be misleading; hence the name “Virginia cedar”, although in reality it is Virginia juniper. We decided to stick with the common name, because it is the most common one on the market.
It is very important to use the botanical name in aromatherapy: then we are sure from which plant a given essential oil was made. The term “cedar” can cover as many as 7 different species of trees and shrubs, including: cedars, junipers and arborvitaes. That is why each of our bottles has the Latin name of a specific species.
COMBINES WELL WITH
basil oil, cypress oil, lavender oil, patchouli oil, geranium oil, ylang-ylang oil, nutmeg sage oil, black pepper oil, frankincense oil and citrus oils (e.g. Sicilian bergamot oil).
WARNINGS
Avoid contact with eyes, inner ear and sensitive areas. Should not be used by pregnant women. May irritate skin, dilute before use. For external use only.
