What is Imupret?
ImupretĀ is an effective herbal medicine that works in two ways: it inhibits the multiplication of viruses and strengthens the immune system, thereby alleviating the course and shortening the duration of the infection.
Imupret works at every stage of the coldĀ ,Ā from its first symptoms.
Imupret contains a unique composition of substances from 7 plants: horsetail, marshmallow, dandelion, chamomile, oak bark, yarrow and walnut leaves.
Contains no added flavors, sugar or preservatives. Imupret is available in an easy-to-administer drop form suitable for children over 2 years of age.
Indications for use of Imupret
Traditionally used at the first signs and throughout the duration of a cold.

How to use Imupret?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Recommended dose:
Dosage for severe (acute) cold symptoms – in the first days of treatment:

Youth aged 12 and over and adults | 25 drops | 125 – 150 drops |
The drug should be used according to the above dosage until the symptoms begin to subside or become less severe, but for no longer than a week (7 days).
When the symptoms begin to subside or become milder, the dosage should be reduced – according to the table below:

There are no sufficient data on dosage in people with hepatic or renal impairment.
Method of administration
Orally.
The medicine can be taken with a small amount of fluid (e.g. water in a medicine glass or in the case of children – on a small spoon of water).
For easier dosing, the bottle should be held vertically when measuring the drops.
A slight sediment or cloudiness may appear during storage.
Duration of treatment
Imupret N should be used until the symptoms have completely disappeared, but for no longer than two consecutive weeks (14 days).
In children under 6 years of age, the medicine can be used without consulting a doctor for a week. Longer use requires medical consultation.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not give to children under 2 years of age.
When not to use Imupret?
- If the patient is allergic to the active substances or any of the excipients;
- if you are allergic to plants of the Astreacae family (formerly Compositae).
Notes on use
The medicine contains approximately 19% (v/v) ethanol (alcohol), which means that 25 drops of the product contain approximately 210 mg of ethanol, which is equal to 5 ml of beer or 2 ml of wine. A single dose of 10 drops used in children aged 2 to 5 years contains approximately 80 mg of ethanol; a single dose of 15 drops used in children aged 6 to 11 years contains approximately 120 mg of ethanol.
Harmful to people with alcoholism.
Should be taken into account when using in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children and in high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.
Avoid using this medicine with other medicinal products containing ethanol.
