What is Ibuprom Sprint and how does it work?
Ibuprom Sprint is a painkiller. It is used to treat inflammation, which is one of the causes of pain. The drug lowers fever.
When is Ibuprom Sprint used?
Pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity, including: headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, low back pain, bone and joint pain. Painful menstruation. Fever (including influenza, colds or other infectious diseases).
Active substance: Ibuprofen
What does Ibuprom Sprint contain?
The active substance is ibuprofen. Each soft capsule contains 200 mg of ibuprofen.
Excipients are:
- Capsule core composition: Macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide, purified water,
- Capsule shell composition: gelatin, liquid sorbitol, partially dehydrated, patent blue V.
How to use Ibuprom Sprint?
Adults and children over 12 years:
- For acute treatment: 1 to 2 capsules orally every 4 hours after meals.
- Do not take more than 6 capsules per day (maximum daily dose 1200 mg in divided doses).
The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
The recommended dose should not be increased. If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult a doctor. The medicine is intended for short-term use.
If symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms occur, contact your doctor.
Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor.
When should Ibuprom Sprint not be used?
When not to use Ibuprom Sprint:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6) and to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
- if you have ever had allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, hives or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- in patients with gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, active or in history, perforation or bleeding, including those occurring after NSAID treatment;
- in patients with severe hepatic failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure;
- in patients taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs concomitantly, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects);
- in the third trimester of pregnancy;
- in case of hemorrhagic diathesis
