Ibuprom Sinuses Tabs 24 tablets

Indications

Ibuprom Zatoki Tabs is indicated for occasional use to relieve symptoms of nasal and sinus congestion with accompanying headache, pain associated with sinus congestion and fever associated with flu or cold.

Composition

The active substances of the drug are ibuprofen (Ibuprofenum) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (Phenylephryni hydrochloridum).

One coated tablet contains: 200 mg of ibuprofen and 6.1 mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride.

Excipients: Core: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, croscarmellose sodium, powdered cellulose, talc, simethicone, colloidal silica, anhydrous. Coating: sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate, macrogol 6000, povidone K90, macrogol 4000, TER LMF M FICHTENGRÜN: – sodium sulfate (E 514) – tartrazine (E 102) – brilliant blue (E 133), shellac, cocoa oil.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 2 tablets 3 times a day (every 8 hours). Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 6 tablets a day.

Undesirable effects may be minimised by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms. If the medicinal product is required for more than 3 days or if the patient’s condition worsens, the patient should be referred to a doctor.

Contraindications

Do not use Ibuprom Zatoki Tabs if you:

• are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
• has active or recurrent gastric and/or duodenal ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding;
• has or has had in the past gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation;
• has intracranial or other type of bleeding;
• has severe liver failure;
• has severe renal failure or severe heart failure (NYHA class IV);
• coronary heart disease;
• has high blood pressure;
• has unexplained hematological disorders;
• has a bleeding diathesis; has diabetes;
• has pheochromocytoma;
• has angle-closure glaucoma;
• has hyperthyroidism;
• has prostatic hyperplasia.
