Ibuprom RR MAX is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drug.
The drug is also used to reduce mild and moderate pain of various origins: headache, toothache, low back pain, neuralgia, joint pain, and fever (due to colds or flu).
Indications
The indications for use of the drug are acute pain of mild or moderate intensity: postoperative, muscle, bone, migraine and menstrual pain.
Active substance: Ibuprofen
Composition
The active substance is ibuprofen 400 mg.
Excipients are:
Tablet core composition: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, pregelatinized starch, vegetable oil, hydrogenated, crospovidone, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica.
Tablet coating composition: polyvinyl alcohol (E 1203), macrogol 3350 (E 1521), titanium dioxide (E 171), talc (E 553b), a mixture of potassium aluminium silicate (E 555) and titanium dioxide (E 171), carnauba wax.
Printing ink composition: shellac glaze approx. 45% (20% esterified) in ethanol, titanium dioxide (E 171), n-butyl alcohol, black iron oxide (E 172), propylene glycol (E 1520), isopropyl alcohol, ammonium hydroxide 28% (E 527), simethicone.
Action
Ibuprom RR is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drug. The drug is also used to reduce mild and moderate pain of various origins: headache, toothache, lumbar-sacral pain, neuralgia, joint pain, and fever (in the course of a cold or flu).
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: for acute treatment: 1 tablet orally every 4 – 6 hours.
- Do not take more than 3 tablets per day.
- This medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
- Elderly: no dosage adjustment is required.
- Do not increase the recommended dose.
If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor.
The medicine is intended for short-term use. If symptoms persist or worsen or if new symptoms occur, contact your doctor. Do not take the medicine for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor.
Contraindications
Do not use the medicine:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the excipients of the drug and to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),
- in patients who have ever had allergy symptoms such as runny nose, hives or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,
- in patients with active or history of gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, perforation or bleeding, including those occurring after the use of NSAIDs,
- in patients with severe hepatic failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure,
- in patients taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects),
- in the third trimester of pregnancy,
- in case of hemorrhagic diathesis.
Contents: White or almost white, oblong, smooth, biconvex tablets, marked “IBUPROM” on one side and “RR” on the other side. 24 film-coated tablets.
