Indications
Adults and children over 12 years of age Local treatment of skin inflammations of various origins, primarily of allergic origin, which respond to glucocorticosteroids. Hydrocortisonum Ziaja is indicated for the local treatment of atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis (allergic or irritant), seborrheic dermatitis, reactions after insect bites or stings.
If after 7 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, contact your doctor.

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine is intended for topical use on the skin.
Recommended dose
Adults and children over 12 years of age
Apply a small amount of cream to the affected skin areas 1 or 2 times a day. Wash your hands after using the medicine. Do not use on the face for longer than 3 days.
The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor is one week. If there is no improvement or the patient feels worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.
Children
Do not use Hydrocortisonum Ziaja in children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Contraindications
When not to use Hydrocortisonum Ziaja
- if you are allergic to hydrocortisone acetate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6),
- if you have a skin infection that is bacterial (e.g. impetigo), viral (e.g. herpes, chickenpox), fungal (e.g. candidiasis) or systemic mycosis,
- if you have acne vulgaris or rosacea (redness, flushing and acne-like spots),
- if you have skin atrophy,
- if you have skin cancer or a pre-cancerous skin condition,
- if you have inflammation of the skin around your mouth,
- if the patient has tuberculosis skin lesions,
- if the patient has open wounds or damaged skin,
- in the genital and anal area,
- in children under 12 years of age without a doctor’s recommendation.
