Indications
An expectorant drug used to treat cough.
Active substance: Guaifenesinum
Composition
5 ml of syrup contains 125 mg of guaifenesin ( Guaifenesinum ).
Excipients with known effect : sucrose, cochineal red (E 124), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol.

Dosage
Dosage
1 teaspoon contains 5 ml, or 6.2 g of syrup.
1 tablespoon contains 15 ml, or 18.7 g of syrup.
Children and youth
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 ml of syrup (1 teaspoon) 3 or 4 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years: 15 ml of syrup (1 tablespoon) 3 or 4 times a day.
Do not take two doses of the medicinal product at the same time. Discontinuing Guajzyl syrup does not cause any adverse effects. Take the syrup after a meal, with a small amount of liquid.
Method of administration : oral administration.
