Cynarex is a traditionally used herbal medicinal product whose effectiveness in the above indications is based solely on long-term use and experience.
Indications
The drug is traditionally used in dyspepsia, weakened bile secretion. As an adjunct in hypercholesterolemia as a means of lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels in blood serum (atherosclerosis prophylaxis) and traditionally as a protective agent in people exposed to toxic substances excreted in bile (including carbon disulfide).
Active substance: Cynarae herba
Composition
One tablet contains active substance – dry extract of artichoke herb ( Cynarae herbae extractum siccum 3-5: 1) – 250 mg, (extractant: ethanol 50% V/V).
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose with the addition of colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone type A, magnesium stearate, talc.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral administration.
Adults and adolescents over 14 years: in dyspepsia 2 tablets at a time. As an aid in hypercholesterolemia or as a protective measure in people exposed to toxic substances excreted in bile (including carbon disulfide) 3 times a day 2 tablets.
In hypercholesterolemia and as a protective agent, Cynarex requires systematic use.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not use in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
Contraindications
When not to use Cynarex:
- If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you are allergic to artichokes or other plants of the Asteraceae family (formerly Compositae).
- In case of biliary obstruction.
