Colodrix entero SR, 30 capsules

Colodrix entero SR is a food for special medical purposes containing butyric acid in the form of microencapsulated sodium butyrate and lactoferrin. Butyric acid is a key short-chain fatty acid, naturally produced in the large intestine during bacterial fermentation of food components. It is the main source of energy for intestinal epithelial cells. Lactoferrin (LF), an iron-binding protein, is a component found in mammalian milk and body fluids.

For use in dietary treatment for:

• functional bowel diseases (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome IBS, constipation, flatulence), diarrhea of ​​various origins,
• non-specific inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn’s disease),
• diverticular disease,
• intestinal inflammation after chemotherapy and radiotherapy,
• conditions after surgical operations in the gastrointestinal tract,
• disturbances in the composition of the intestinal microbiota.

Adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day (morning and evening). Use the preparation for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily (in the evening).

The capsule should be swallowed whole (do not chew or spill the contents), with water. Use during a meal.

Depending on individual needs, your doctor may recommend different doses of the preparation.

Ingredients: sodium butyrate, fully hydrogenated palm oil, prolonged-release capsule – capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactoferrin (from milk), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

• The product cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition and is not intended for parenteral use.
