Bronchipret TE syrup is a herbal medicinal product used in the symptoms of cough with retained sputum, in mild to moderate infections and inflammatory conditions of the respiratory tract , such as acute bronchitis.

Composition
The syrup contains: | active substances: liquid extract of thyme herb, liquid extract of common ivy leaves |
excipients: citric acid monohydrate, purified water, hydroxypropylbetadex, potassium sorbate, liquid maltitol (15.6 g maltitol/100 g Bronchipret TE syrup). |
Dosage
Bronchipret TE should be taken exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Recommended dose: Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, take Bronchipret TE syrup 3 times a day:
- Children aged 2 to 5 years 3.2 ml i.e. 9.6 ml per day
- Children aged 6 to 11 years 4.3 ml i.e. 12.9 million per day
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age 5.4 ml i.e. 16.2 ml per day
Method of administration Orally. Use the enclosed measuring cup and apply Bronchipret TE syrup 3 times a day, according to the patient’s age, according to the instructions in the table above. The syrup should be swallowed without dilution. The medicine can be washed down with a small amount of liquid (preferably water). Stir before use!
If symptoms persist for more than 10 days or if you experience difficulty breathing, fever, or purulent or bloody discharge, contact your doctor immediately.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
The medicine should not be given to children under 2 years of age.
In case of persistent or recurring cough in children between 2 and 4 years of age, a doctor should be consulted as such symptoms may be a sign of a serious disease.
Contraindications
- In case of hypersensitivity to the active substances and to other plants of the Lamiaceae and Araliacae families, birch, mugwort, celery, or to any of the excipients.
Notes on use
- Bronchipret TE syrup contains 7% alcohol by volume,
This means that 5.4 ml contains up to 0.30 g of alcohol, which is equivalent to 8 ml of beer or 3 ml of wine. It may be harmful to people addicted to alcohol. The presence of alcohol should also be taken into account and consulted with a doctor if you want to use the product in children in higher doses than recommended and in high-risk groups, such as people with liver disease or epilepsy.
- Bronchipret TE syrup contains maltitol.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking Bronchipret TE syrup. Information for diabetics: One dose of Bronchipret TE syrup (5.4 ml) contains approximately 1.9 g of easily digestible carbohydrates.

Transparent, brown syrup, available in coloured glass bottles with a polyethylene flow restrictor, a polypropylene cap and an attached polypropylene measuring cup, in a cardboard box.
A single printed carton contains 1 bottle along with an information leaflet.
