How does AdTab for dogs work?
Extensive studies have shown that the active substance used is highly effective and well tolerated by dogs at recommended doses. The active substance contained in AdTab causes excessive stimulation of the nervous system of fleas and ticks, which quickly results in their death. The tablet kills fleas on the dog before the product is administered within 6 hours, and ticks within 8 hours. It affects only fleas and ticks, not dogs or people, and works for a whole month.
Contains only what is necessary!
The active substance contained in the tablets is in its pure active form (as S-enantiomer). The inactive form (R-enantiomer) is removed and only the pure active substance remains in the body. The following benefits result from this:
- less burden on the dog’s body
- lower risk of side effects compared to products containing an active substance that is a mixture of both enantiomers
- better effectiveness with the same drug dose
To sum up, the dog’s body receives only the necessary substance and nothing more!

- Dogs weighing 1.3 kg to 2.5 kg: AbTab tablet 56 mg lotilaner

4. What does the AdTab for dogs package contain?
Each pack of AdTab for dogs contains one chewable tablet. Each tablet protects against fleas and ticks for one month, meaning that a pack containing one tablet provides protection for one month.
5. How to get rid of fleas from your home?
If your dog gets fleas, they can spread throughout your home. Flea eggs laid in your pet’s fur can remain in your home and give rise to larvae. The larvae develop into pupae, which then develop into adults that can feed on your pet. Flea eggs, larvae, and pupae can hide in carpets, floor coverings, bedding, and upholstered furniture throughout your home.
If, despite using AbTab tablets, you still find fleas in your pet’s fur, there is a chance that these are newly hatched individuals from your immediate environment. Naturally, within a month of administering AdTab tablets, the parasites that get onto the treated animal will die.
In the case of a flea infestation in your home, speed is key. Be sure to regularly wash your pet’s bedding and vacuum your carpets and floors to eliminate fleas at any stage of development.
6. Can ticks remain on the animal despite using the product?
There are several reasons why you may still find ticks in your pet’s fur. During a walk, ticks can get onto your dog’s fur, even if it is treated. The active ingredient in the medicine works on parasites after a bite, so ticks can attach themselves to the animal’s skin. Ticks may be visible on your pet’s skin, attached but dead. This is especially true in areas where these parasites are most common.
7. Can AdTab cause side effects?
As with any medication, there is a possibility of side effects. For more information on side effects, please refer to the package leaflet. Any concerns about your dog’s health should always be reported to your veterinarian.
