What is Loxon and how does it work?
Loxon 2% is a medicine for androgenetic alopecia in the form of a liquid to be applied to the scalp. The formula of the preparation is based on minoxidil – an active substance that reverses or inhibits miniaturization of hair follicles. Its task is also to strongly stimulate the process of multiplication of follicle cells in the hair growth phase.
Loxon 2% is dedicated to the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. The drug is intended for use only in people who are over 18 and under 65. Androgenetic alopecia in women and men is a progressive disease.
It consists of a genetically determined hypersensitivity to dihydrotestosterone, an active form of testosterone. Androgenic hair loss can be treated with the help of Loxon – the inhibition of this process occurs already in the second month of using the preparation.
Hair growth usually begins after 4 months of regular use of Loxon 2%. The maximum effect of the treatment of androgenetic alopecia using the preparation is achieved after about 12 months.
