Hydrocortisone Hasco Max 10 mg/g cream 15 g

Hydrocortisone Hasco Max is a cream intended for topical application to the skin.

Hydrocortisone Hasco Max cream contains hydrocortisone (as acetate) – a weak corticosteroid, which when applied topically has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictor effects.

Hydrocortisone Hasco Max is used topically in skin inflammations of various origins, primarily of allergic origin, of moderate intensity, which respond to glucocorticosteroids. The drug is used topically in the following indications:

• atopic dermatitis, allergic eczema, hives,
• seborrheic dermatitis,
• alleviating conditions after insect bites.

• The active substance is hydrocortisone acetate. 1 g of cream contains 10 mg of hydrocortisone acetate.
• Other ingredients (excipients) are: macrogol cetostearyl ether, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, sorbitan stearate, propylene glycol (E 1520), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216) and purified water.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

The medicine is intended for topical application to the skin.

Recommended dose

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin 2 or 3 times a day.

Wash your hands after applying the medicine unless they are being treated. Do not apply to large areas of skin without consulting your doctor first.

Duration of treatment

Do not use the medicine for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. Do not use it on your face for longer than 3 days. If there is no improvement or if you feel worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

• Do not use in children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor.
• The drug should be used with caution in children and long-term use should be avoided due to the higher risk of systemic side effects, including growth and development disorders, than in adults.

• if you are allergic to hydrocortisone, other corticosteroids or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
• in case of bacterial, viral, fungal infections or systemic mycosis;
• in acne vulgaris or rosacea;
• if there is atrophy (wasting away) of the skin;
• in case of skin cancer or pre-cancerous skin condition;
• in inflammation of the skin around the mouth (dermatitis perioralis);
• in tuberculous lesions of the skin;
• for open wounds and damaged skin.
