Dolgit is an OTC drug in the form of a cream. It contains the active substance ibuprofen, which has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in inflamed tissue.
Indications
- Local treatment of muscle pain.
- Treatment of pain in the course of degenerative joint diseases, rheumatic diseases of the peripheral joints and the spine.
- Treatment of inflammatory changes in periarticular tissues (e.g. synovial bursae, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments and joint capsules).
- Treatment of painful stiffness of the shoulder, pain in the lumbar spine, post-traumatic changes related to sports or accidents (e.g. bruises, sprains).
COMPOSITION
The active substance of the drug is ibuprofenum.
Other ingredients: medium chain triglycerides, glycerol monostearate, macrogol-30-glycerol monostearate, macrogol-100-glycerol monostearate, propylene glycol, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, xanthan gum, lavender oil, orange oil, purified water.

DOSAGE
Application to the skin.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, a strip of cream 4 to 10 cm long is usually applied and rubbed into the skin 3 to 4 times a day.
If necessary, the medicinal product can be used more often, but not more often than every 4 hours.
If symptoms do not subside or worsen after 10 days of using the medicinal product, the patient should consult a doctor.
The daily dose should not exceed 12 g of cream (600 mg ibuprofen).

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the excipients; Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs); History of urticaria, allergic rhinitis, asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
