Calperos 1000 mg/400 mg Calcium Ions 100 hard capsules
Calperos 1000 contain calcium carbonate, which is a source of ionized calcium for the body .
Calcium is an element that takes part in the formation and mineralization of bone tissue throughout human life.
- It determines proper nerve conduction and contractility of striated muscles.
- It maintains the body’s electrolyte balance and also affects the efficiency of the heart muscle.
- Participates in the blood clotting process.
- It influences the activity of a number of enzymes and also acts as a transmitter through which chemical, physical or hormonal stimuli are transformed into a specific biological effect.
- Thanks to its property of reducing the permeability of blood vessel walls, calcium has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous and anti-allergic effects.
Calcium carbonate contained in Calperos preparations helps to cover the daily requirement for calcium, reduces calcium loss from the skeletal system in women in the peri-
and post-menopausal period and in all elderly people. It prevents the occurrence of bone changes in the course of chronic renal failure. It has a soothing effect on
allergic reactions on the surface of the skin and mucous membranes.
Indications
