APAP 500 mg is a medicine whose active substance is paracetamol .
Apap is a painkiller and antipyretic drug .
The indications for use of the drug are pain of various origins:
- headaches (including tension headaches),
- menstrual,
- teeth,
- muscles,
- osteoarticular,
- throat,
- neuralgia
- and fever, e.g. in colds and flu.
APAP is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Apap dosage:
- Adults: 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day (maximum 8 tablets a day)
- Children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet 3 to 4 times a day.
There should be at least 4 hours between subsequent doses.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not administer to children under 12 years of age (limitation due to the form of the drug).
Contraindications
When not to take APAP:
If the patient has:
- you have previously been diagnosed with an allergy to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
- you have severe liver or kidney failure,
- there is a congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase or methemoglobin reductase,
- in children under 12 years of age.
