1 sachet contains: Sennae foliolum 0.9-1.1 g, which corresponds to 30 mg of hydroxyanthracene glycosides expressed as sennoside B

Indications for use:

A drug for use in the immediate treatment of constipation.

Contraindications:

Do not use the medicine in case of known hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance or to any other ingredient of the preparation, or in case of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin or in states of dehydration with loss of water and electrolytes. Do not give products containing senna to children under 12 years of age.

Dosage:

Adults, elderly people and adolescents over 12 years of age: once a day.

Children and adolescents Xenna (herbs against constipation) is contraindicated for use in children under 12 years of age.

Method of administration:

Oral administration. Take as needed. Pour a glass of boiling water (approx. 200 ml) over 1 sachet and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.

Drink from half a glass of infusion to a whole glass of infusion at once before bed. Always drink a fresh infusion.

Constipation that is not relieved can lead to serious illnesses, but you should take the smallest amount of Xenna infusion (herb against constipation) that will produce soft stools and not exceed the recommended dose (1 sachet) in 24 hours.

1 sachet of the product corresponds to the maximum daily dose of hydroxyanthracene glycosides. Taking for longer than 1-2 weeks requires medical supervision due to the possibility of habituation, which requires the use of higher doses of the drug, and due to the possibility of causing atony of the large intestine, and thus increasing constipation.
