OTC VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY PREVENTIVE MEDICATION for the whole family

With over 90 years of experience in the production of high-quality medicinal vitamin D products, VIGANTOL has been developed to prevent vitamin D deficiency in the entire family – from children to the elderly (>75 years).

Composition:

500 IU OF VITAMIN D3 IN EACH DROP: 1 drop contains 12.5 µg of cholecalciferol, which corresponds to 500 IU of vitamin D3.

Dosage:

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the usual daily dose is:

– Premature babies: 2 drops per day of Vigantol solution (1000 IU vitamin D3). After reaching 40 weeks of corrected age, the preventive dose should be reduced. The dosage must be determined by the attending physician.

– Newborns and infants (up to 12 months): 1 drop per day of Vigantol solution (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D3).

– Children, adolescents: 1 drop per day of Vigantol solution (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D3).

– Adults (including the elderly): 2 drops of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 1000 IU of vitamin D3).

– Supportive treatment for osteoporosis in adults: 4 drops per day of Vigantol solution (equivalent to 2000 IU of vitamin D3).

– Obese adults (including the elderly) and elderly people (> 75 years): 8 drops of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 4000 IU of vitamin D3).

In premature babies, newborns and infants the drug should be used under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

The bottle contains 10 ml of oral drop solution. Closed with a cap, which contains a dropper to facilitate measuring the recommended dose.
