Description

Solphadermol is intended for the removal of skin eruptions caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus .

Action

Solphadermol causes damage to infected cells resulting in a local defensive skin reaction in the area of the rash. The aim of the treatment is to induce a painless inflammation limited to the area of the rash. With the subsidence of the inflammation, the skin rash of the molluscum heals.

Composition

1ml of the preparation contains: potassium hydroxide 50 mg and purified water.

How to use

Twice a day, apply a small amount of the preparation with a spatula exactly to the nodules of the molluscum contagiosum, and then leave to dry. Stop using the preparation when inflammation appears, indicating the healing process. Inflammation is manifested by redness that lasts for at least 12 hours.

Contraindications

Do not use on infants and small children under 2 years of age.

Solphadermol is not intended for the treatment of common warts (Verrucae). If you are not sure whether you or your child has molluscum contagiosum or common warts, consult your doctor before using the preparation.
