Sinupret is used as a supportive treatment in acute and chronic sinusitis.
Sinupret is a traditionally used herbal medicine with a secretolytic effect. Sinupret causes the thinning of mucus , giving a reducing effect on the swelling of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.
Indications
Acute and chronic sinusitis.
If there is no improvement or the patient feels worse after 7-14 days, contact your doctor.
Active substance: Gentianae radix , Primulae flos , Rumicis herba , Sambuci flos , Verbenae officinalis herba
Composition

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual dose of Sinupret is:
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: orally 2 coated tablets 3 times a day.
- Children aged 6 to 11 years: orally 1 coated tablet 3 times a day.
In special cases the dose may be doubled.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with a small amount of water.
When using Sinupret, as with other drugs with secretolytic action, it is recommended to drink more fluids.
Contraindications
When not to use Sinupret
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, primrose flower or calyx, sorrel herb, elderberry flower, verbena herb or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
