Sachol dental gel is indicated for local use:
- in inflammation of the oral mucosa,
- in erosions and ulcers of the oral cavity,
- in cases of inflammation of the gums,
- in periodontal diseases.
Composition
The active substances of the drug are choline salicylate and cetalkonium chloride. 1 g of gel contains: 87.1 mg of choline salicylate (Cholinisalicylas) and 0.1 mg of cetalkonium chloride (Cetalkoniichloridum) and excipients with known effects: methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, as well as other excipients: hydroxyethylcellulose, glycerol, star anise essential oil, ethanol 96%, purified water.
Pharmaceutical form: transparent, colorless, uniform gel with the scent of anise oil.
Dosage
Sachol dental gel should be used 2 to 3 times a day.
Application method: a small amount of gel should be applied to the affected area and rubbed in lightly for about 2 minutes. After applying the preparation, you should not drink or eat for about half an hour. Immediately after application, the gel remains on the surface of the oral mucosa for several minutes.
Sachol should be used for its intended purpose, according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. If in doubt, it is worth consulting a doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to choline salicylate, cetalkonium chloride, other salicylates or any of the excipients.
