Licorice is a plant native to southeastern Europe and the Middle East.
Licorice can be consumed as a tea or as an addition to food. Use for longer than 4 weeks may cause water retention in the body and cause swelling. The herb cannot be used by pregnant people, those with hypertension, renal failure and hypokalemia.
Ingredients: 100% licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) chopped root.
Suggested use: Add 1 teaspoon of root to 500 ml of water, boil covered for 5 to 7 minutes, set aside for 15 minutes, then strain. Use twice a day, about an hour after a meal.
Storage method: Store in a dry and dark place, out of reach of small children.
