Essensey Tryptophan – 90 caps.
ESSENSEY L-Tryptophan dietary supplement contains the exogenous amino acid l-tryptophan, which is a precursor of melatonin and serotonin.
✔️ DIETARY SUPPLEMENT CONTAINING 1000 MG L-TRYPTOPHAN IN A DAILY PORTION
✔️ MELATONIN AND SEROTONIN PRECURSOR – THANKS TO THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF L-TRYPTOPHAN, IT IS POSSIBLE TO PRODUCE MELATONIN AND SEROTONIN IN THE BODY. [1]
✔️ L-TRYPTOPHAN IS AN AMINO ACID THAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE HUMAN BODY. IT IS AN EXOGENOUS AMINO ACID, WHICH MEANS THAT THE HUMAN BODY IS NOT ABLE TO PRODUCE THIS INGREDIENT ITSSELF. IT MUST BE SUPPLIED WITH A DIET OR PROPERLY SELECTED SUPPLEMENTATION. [1]
✔️ IDEAL FOR VEGETARIANS DUE TO THE CELLULOSE CAPSULE USED
Essential exogenous amino acid
L-Tryptophan is one of the amino acids essential for human life. It is not directly produced in our body, so it must be supplied with the daily diet. The richest food products that contain L-Tryptophan are high-protein products (animal and plant). If the diet does not cover the appropriate demand for this essential amino acid, its supplementation is necessary. [3]
L-Tryptophan – serotonin precursor
The presence of an appropriate amount of L-Tryptophan in the human body enables the synthesis of serotonin. It is a “happiness hormone” that affects: mood improvement, sleep, appetite and cognitive functions. Thanks to serotonin, we are able to feel pleasure and euphoria. [4]
L-Tryptophan, a precursor of melatonin
The substrate for melatonin synthesis is tryptophan, an exogenous aromatic amino acid. Its conversion into melatonin takes place in a 4-step reaction sequence, and one of the intermediate products is serotonin. Melatonin is considered the “hormone of darkness”, it has a regulatory effect on the day and night rhythm. [5]
