Indications
- Acute pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity: headaches (including tension headaches), migraine with or without aura (symptoms such as headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound), toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, bone and joint pain.
- Painful menstruation.
- Fever (including influenza, colds or other infectious diseases)
Composition
- Active substance: Ibuprofen (Ibuprofenum) 400 mg
- Excipients: macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide, purified water, capsule composition: gelatin, liquid sorbitol – partially dehydrated, purified water
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years:
- 1 capsule orally every 4 hours after meals.
- If necessary, take the capsule with some liquid.
Contraindications
The medicinal product is contraindicated in patients:
- with hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),
- who have ever had allergy symptoms such as runny nose, urticaria, angioedema or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),
- with active or history of recurrent gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, perforation or bleeding (two or more independent episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding),
- a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID treatment,
- with severe hepatic failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure (NYHA class IV),
- taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects),
- with bleeding diathesis,
- in the third trimester of pregnancy
