Ibuprom Max Sprint contains ibuprofen – an active substance belonging to the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It is a painkiller. It helps fight inflammation , which is one of the causes of pain. The drug also lowers fever.
Indications
The indications for use of the drug are acute pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity:
- headaches (including tension headache), migraine with or without aura (symptoms such as headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound), toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, bone and joint pain.
- Painful menstruation.
- Fever (including influenza, colds or other infectious diseases).

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age
- For acute treatment: 1 capsule orally every 4 hours (do not take more than 3 capsules in 24 hours). If necessary, take the capsule with some liquid.
- The capsules should not be chewed.
This medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Elderly people
- No dosage adjustment is necessary.
The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration to relieve symptoms.
If this medicine needs to be used for longer than 3 days or if your condition worsens, contact your doctor.
Contraindications
When not to use Ibuprom Max Sprint
- If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- In people who have ever had allergy symptoms such as runny nose, hives or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
- If you have any of the following conditions:
- active or history of gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, bleeding or perforation (including that occurring after the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs),
- severe liver failure, severe kidney failure or severe heart failure,
- hemorrhagic diathesis.
- During treatment with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including drugs from a group called COX-2 inhibitors.
- In the third trimester of pregnancy.
