Gripblocker Express, 20 softgels

Gripblocker Express is a multi-ingredient drug intended for short-term treatment of cold and flu symptoms .

It contains three active substances: paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and dextromethorphan. It has analgesic, antipyretic, antitussive effects, restores patency of the nasal passages and sinus openings, reduces the amount of mucous secretion and congestion and swelling of the nasal mucosa. Gripblocker Express is a drug intended for the treatment of adults and adolescents and children over 6 years of age.

Emergency treatment of cold symptoms, flu, flu-like conditions, sinusitis (fever, runny nose, cough, headache, sore throat, muscle and joint pain).

The active substances of the drug are paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan. 1 capsule contains 300 mg of paracetamol, 30 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 12 mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide.

Other ingredients (excipients) are: macrogol 400, glycerol, propylene glycol, povidone K17, purified water, gelatin, liquid non-crystallising sorbitol, cochineal red E124.

The drug is administered orally.

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 to 2 capsules, 3-4 times a day.
• Do not use more than 8 capsules per day.

Children aged 6 to 12:

• 1 capsule 3-4 times a day.
• Do not use more than 4 capsules per day.

When not to use Gripblocker Express:

• if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
• if you use other medicines containing paracetamol,
• if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken these medications within 2 weeks of stopping their use,
• in patients with congenital glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency,
• in severe renal or hepatic failure,
• in severe hypertension,
• in ischemic heart disease,
• in alcoholism,
• in bronchial asthma,
• during pregnancy and breastfeeding,
• if you have hereditary constitutional hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert’s disease),
• in children under 6 years of age.
