Fiprex® DUO is a new line of medicinal products designed to combat flea and tick invasions in dogs. Fiprex® DUO contains two active substances: Fipronil and (S)-Metoprene. The action of the preparation is to eliminate fleas, ticks and lice by blocking the parasite’s nerve conduction, and consequently its paralysis and death. Fipronil combats fleas within 24 hours, and ticks and lice within 48 hours of application. Metoprene, contained in Fiprex® DUO (S), inhibits the development of immature forms of fleas (eggs, larvae and pupae), which occur in the environment of animal habitats, including kennels and beds.
Indications for use:
- combating flea infestations only or in mixed infestations with ticks and/or lice,
- Control of adult fleas: The insecticidal effect against new invasions of adult fleas lasts for 8 weeks,
- combating flea eggs, larvae and pupae. This effect lasts for 6 weeks after the treatment,
- tick control. The acaricidal effect of the product lasts up to 4 weeks after administration,
- lice control.
The product can be used to treat clinical signs of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), if previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.
Method of administration:
Hold the pipette vertically. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents remain in the main body of the pipette. Snap off the tip. Part the fur on the animal’s back at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the pipette tip on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to completely empty its contents directly onto the skin in one spot. Temporary changes to the coat (clumping/greasy hairs) may be noted at the application site.
Do not bathe the animal for 2 days after administration of the product or more often than once a week. Dogs should not swim in watercourses for 2 days after administration of the product.
The period between subsequent treatments is 4 weeks.

FAQ, or frequently asked questions.
1. How long does it take for Fiprex to work?
The preparation has an immediate killing effect on fleas, while ticks die within 48 hours.
2. Is it allowed to bathe the dog while administering Fiprex?
The dog must not be bathed for 48 hours before or 48 hours after administering the deworming drops.
3. What is the difference between Fiprex and Fiprex DUO?
Fiprex DUO also protects your pet from fleas and ticks, but is enriched with an additional ingredient (S) – Methoprene. This is a so-called insect growth regulator (IGR), which inhibits the development of immature flea development forms, thus reducing the number of flea eggs, larvae and pupae in the environment of your pet.
Fiprex DUO works on all stages of flea development on the animal before they fall off the dog or cat. In this way, it protects your home from flea invasion.
