Dasergin 5 mg, 10 coated tablets

Dasergin contains desloratadine, which is an antihistamine.

Dasergin relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucosa caused by an allergy, for example, hay fever or allergy to dust mites) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate, and itchy, red or watery eyes.
Dasergin is also used to relieve symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). Symptoms of this condition include itching and hives.
Relief from these symptoms lasts throughout the day, making it easier to return to normal daily activities and sleep.
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days, talk to your doctor.

The active substance is desloratadine. Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg desloratadine.

The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment), sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), maize starch, lactose monohydrate and talc in the tablet core and hypromellose, macrogol 400, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E171) and indigo carmine (E132) in the tablet coating.

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over
The recommended dose is one tablet once daily with water, taken with or without food.
This medicine is for oral use.
Swallow the tablet whole.
The duration of treatment with Dasergin will be determined by your doctor after determining the type of allergic rhinitis you have.
If you have intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur for less than 4 days a week or for less than 4 weeks), your doctor will recommend a treatment regimen based on the previous course of your disease.

If you have chronic allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur for 4 or more days a week and for more than 4 weeks), your doctor may recommend a longer treatment period.
In urticaria, the duration of treatment may vary from patient to patient. Therefore, you should follow your doctor’s instructions.
If after 3 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, you should contact your doctor. Do not use Dasergin for longer than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

If you are allergic to desloratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine or to loratadine.
