Colostrum BIO freeze-dried 30-40% IgG 50g NatVita
Colostrum (colostrum of bovine origin) is produced by female mammals in the first hours after giving birth. The product is characterized by > 30-40% immunoglobulin (IgG) content, has been defatted and subjected to sterile filtration / microfiltration. The product is collected from the first and second milking, so that the young calf receives the appropriate dose of colostrum after giving birth.
Colostrum contains perfectly balanced ingredients: minerals, vitamins, amino acids, trace elements, natural growth factors, as well as immunoglobulins. The composition of cow colostrum is 99% identical to the first milk (colostrum) of human mothers. It also contains polypeptides rich in prolines, cytokines, lactoferrin.
Immunoglobulins are proteins that are antibodies produced by our body for protection against viruses, bacteria and fungi. Colostrum of cows contains over 400 interactive substances.
Colostrum is obtained from milking in the first hours after calving. However, the collected colostrum, which is processed into the NatVita product, is only the excess of the first milk produced by the calf’s mother. Calves receive all the necessary colostrum to grow properly and gain immunity, because calves, unlike humans, are born without developed immune mechanisms, which is why we take such great care of calves first, and only then can we process the excess.
The processing of our colostrum takes place in the laboratory and is defatted there and we get rid of indigestible proteins and germs through a microsterile filtration process. After defatting, the casein is separated from the product, thanks to which the colostrum can be absorbed by the intestines without prior digestion.
Contained in colostrum:
- Proline-rich polypeptides play an important role in biological processes, supporting the immune system and the growth of nerve cells
- growth factors regulate and support the growth of body cells, balance cell metabolism
- vitamins A, B1, B2, B12, C, D and E
- lactoperoxidase
- oligosaccharides promote the microbiome, supporting the effectiveness of natural cells that kill viruses and bacteria
- cytokines that modulate or inhibit inflammatory processes
Colostrum was already used more than 1,000 years ago, as well as by Egyptian pharaohs, Greek athletes, Celtic druids, and Indians, and even Goethe’s personal physician.
