What is Oscillococcinum and what is it used for?
Oscillococcinum is a medicine used to treat symptoms of flu, colds and flu-like infections:
- fever (up to 38.5 o C),
- a general feeling of being broken,
- muscle and bone-joint pain.
Oscillococcinum is recommended to be used immediately after the first symptoms of infection appear , including: a feeling of a scratchy throat, a feeling of being unwell, or a feeling of cold.
Oscillococcinum contains sucrose and lactose.

Indications

Composition

Dosage
- Take orally.
- Dissolve the contents of the tube in your mouth, holding it under your tongue.
Recommended dose of Oscillococcinum:
Adults, adolescents and children over 5 years of age:
- Onset of infection: take 1 dose as soon as possible, repeat 2-3 times every 6 hours if necessary.
- Developed infection: 1 dose in the morning and evening for 3 days.
Children up to 5 years of age: as directed by a physician. The granules can be dissolved in a small amount
of water and given with a spoon.
Contraindications
When not to use Oscillococcinum?
Oscillococcinum should not be used if the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
