Creating a fragrance is an art form that dates back to ancient times.

Their task is to inspire, stimulate the senses, improve well-being and evoke pleasant experiences associated with being surrounded by an aura of fragrance, chosen according to one’s own discretion. The number of fragrances created can be virtually unlimited, they can be enclosed in fragrance notes, and from them create whole chords of new fragrances, which will be complemented by an original, creative name assigned to the fragrance composition.

Essential oils are used, among other things, to aromatize the air through ceramic fireplaces, effectively eliminate unpleasant odors in the vacuum cleaner and ashtrays. They fill wardrobes with a pleasant scent. Spraying scents chosen for yourself causes the pleasure of being in interiors and in any surroundings.

Let’s surround ourselves with scent!

  • Citronella – This is one of the most powerful antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal ingredients found in aromatherapy. It has a calming effect and acts as an insect repellent.

Supports the immune system. Recommended for colds, flu and runny nose. It has a calming effect, which is why it is recommended for shock, hysteria and severe nervousness. One of its other advantages is that it repels insects, especially mosquitoes, due to its characteristic smell.

Indications:  for foot care (fungal infection), in skin cleansing mixtures and insect repellents. It gives good results in combating acne, herpes, warts and verrucas. Recommended for colds, flu and catarrh. Recommended in states of shock, hysteria and severe nervousness.

  • Bergamot – Natural bergamot oil is obtained from the fruit of the bergamot tree. It is an excellent antiseptic and is widely used in the treatment of all infections. It has a soothing effect on nervous tension, stress, emotions, states of depression and melancholy. It can be helpful in “returning to yourself” after a mental or physical illness. It limits the activity of the herpes virus, which causes the so-called cold. Its scent stimulates the mind to work, refreshes and refreshes – brightens the mind. Like all citrus oils, it is photosensitive and should not be used while sunbathing or exposing the skin to UV rays.
  • Cedar – Natural cedar oil is great for viral infections, has a diuretic effect and fights cellulite, swelling and excess fat. Helps with skin problems. The oil calms, soothes depression, anxiety and fear.
  • Spruce –  Natural spruce oil has a stimulating and refreshing effect on a tired mind. It removes symptoms of fatigue, nervous exhaustion and neuralgia. It can reduce excessive sweating and stimulate circulation. Thanks to its warming properties, it can alleviate symptoms of rheumatism and arthritis.

The oil has antiseptic, anti-infective, anti-inflammatory effects, relieves upper respiratory tract infections. It has a light, fresh, resinous, woody scent and a yellow or colorless color.

  • Pine – Natural oil obtained from Scots pine needles. It has antiseptic properties in respiratory and sinus infections. It has a stimulating and refreshing effect on a tired mind. It removes symptoms of fatigue, nervous exhaustion and neuralgia. Thanks to its warming properties, it can alleviate symptoms of rheumatism and arthritis. It has expectorant, bactericidal and disinfectant effects, which is why it is often used for inhalation. It increases the body’s immunity, widens the respiratory tract and facilitates breathing.

 

How to use essential oils?

  • Air scenting  – depending on the size of the room, pour water into the warmer/aroma burner and add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil.
  • Bath  – add a few drops of oil to warm, but not hot water. This is a perfect way to relax after an intense day and soothe your skin. The bath should last about 15 minutes.
  • Inhalation  – pour boiling water into an inhaler or bowl and add about 5 drops of the oil with the desired properties. It is worth inhaling the vapors for at least 5-10 minutes.
  • Massage  – using oils together with vegetable oils in massage has a caring and deeply relaxing effect. Add 3-5 drops of your chosen essential oil to one tablespoon of base oil. Massage with this mixture.

Using oils has  many  benefits  and is completely safe when used with caution. When using oils at home,  do not   apply them directly to the skin or orally in undiluted form.  Do not  exceed the recommended dose – usually a few drops per specific volume.
