A garlic-based preparation used prophylactically and supportively in the treatment of colds and upper respiratory tract infections.
Composition
The active substances are: garlic bulb powder (Allii sativi bulbus) and nettle leaf powder (Urticae folium).
1 enteric-coated tablet contains 200 mg of garlic onion powder and 53.5 mg of nettle leaf powder.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose with colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, acetylcellulose phthalate, triethyl citrate, polysorbate 80, indigo carmine lake E 132, quinoline yellow lake E104.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
For the prevention of upper respiratory tract infections.
Adults: 1 tablet 3 times a day, the drug can be used for up to 6 months.
Supportive in mild upper respiratory tract infections (colds).
Adults: 1 to 3 tablets 3 times a day. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, consult a doctor.
- Take the medicine after main meals.
- Do not chew the tablets, swallow them whole.
Contraindications
When not to use Alliofil :
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Alliofil,
- if the patient is allergic to sulfur compounds,
- if you have liver failure, bronchial asthma or food allergies.
