Alectoin, eye drops with ectoine, 10 ml

Alectoin is an eye drop containing ectoine, intended for use in the prevention and support of the treatment of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. The composition of the preparation includes ectoine in a concentration of 2% (Ectoin®), which has protective and moisturizing properties for the eyes. Additionally, the preparation contains hydroxyethylcellulose, which increases the viscosity of the drops, which helps in their effective application and retention on the surface of the eye.

Alectoin, eye drops:

• relieve redness, itching and watery eyes associated with allergic conjunctivitis,
• accelerate the regeneration process of irritated and hypersensitive conjunctiva,
• protect against the harmful effects of allergens.

Alectoin eye drops are used according to the following recommendations:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
2. Unscrew the eye drops bottle.
3. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
4. Tilt your head back slightly or lie down with your head slightly raised.
5. Gently pull the lower eyelid down to create a small pocket.
6. Put one or two drops into your eye while looking up.
7. Close your eyelid and blink gently a few times to spread the drops evenly across the surface of your eye.
8. If you are using more than one drop or other eye medicine, wait at least 5 minutes before applying the next dose.
9. Cap the bottle tightly after use.

After using the drops, it is recommended to avoid touching the eyes to avoid possible infection or contamination. If you have any doubts about the use of Alectoin, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Alectoin eye drops should not be used after surgery or trauma to the eyes. Alectoin eye drops with ectoine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoine or other ingredients of the eye drops.

If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. For hygienic reasons, it is recommended that the product be used by only one user. The product should be used within 6 weeks of opening.
