ACC optima is used as a drug that thins respiratory tract secretions and facilitates expectoration in patients with bronchitis associated with colds. ACC optima contains the active substance acetylcysteine. Acetylcysteine reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions and facilitates expectoration.

Other ingredients | citric acid anhydrous, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, anhydrous, mannitol, lactose, anhydrous, ascorbic acid, sodium saccharin, sodium cyclamate, sodium citrate, dihydrate, blackberry flavor “B”. |
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age:
- The daily dose of acetylcysteine is 600 mg (1 effervescent tablet ACC optima once daily).
Method of administration:
ACC optima should be taken after a meal. The effervescent tablet should be dissolved in half a glass of water and drunk immediately after dissolving. Use no later than 4 hours before bedtime. It is recommended to drink more fluids during treatment. Without a doctor’s recommendation, the medicinal product should not be used for longer than 4 to 5 days. If there is no improvement during this time, the patient should contact a doctor.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any of the excipients.
- Active gastric or duodenal ulcer.
- Acute asthmatic condition.
- Reduced ability to expectorate secretions.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Due to the high content of the active substance, ACC optima should not be used in children under 14 years of age.
Contents: Soft paper/aluminium blister in a cardboard box containing 10 effervescent tablets.
