Indications
Nurofen (ibuprofen 200 mg) works to target mild to moderate pain.
Composition
Ibuprofen 200mg.
Contains no gluten, wheat or lactose.
Contains no preservatives.
Contains sucrose.
It can be used during breastfeeding (discontinuation of breastfeeding is not necessary during short-term treatment with ibuprofen at recommended doses).
Dosage
For use in adults and children over 6 years of age (over 20 kg body weight). For oral administration and occasional use only.
Kids:
The optimal dosage is between 7-10 mg/kg body weight 3 to 4 times a day, which corresponds to a daily dose of 20-30 mg/kg.
It is recommended not to exceed a daily dose of 30 mg/kg/day in the treatment of pain and fever.
Children from 6 to 9 years (20 to 30 kg):
1 tablet 200 mg. If necessary, 1 tablet every 6 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets/day (600 mg).
Children from 9 to 12 years (30 to 40 kg):
1 tablet 200 mg. If necessary, 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets/day (800 mg).
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age (over 40 kg):
Initial dose: two tablets, then one or two tablets every 4 to 6 hours if necessary. Do not take more than six tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours. Leave a four-hour break between doses.
Tablets should be taken with water. Maximum dose is 6 tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
