What is Nasivin Classic?
Nasivin Classic contains the active substance oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which narrows blood vessels.
The administration of Nasivin Classic reduces swelling of the inflamed mucous membrane and inhibits excessive secretion, which facilitates free breathing through the nose.
Reducing nasal congestion also opens and dilates the sinus ducts and unblocks the auditory tubes. This facilitates the removal of secretions and cures bacterial infection. Nasivin Classic, compared to saline, shortens the average duration of acute rhinitis (nose congestion, runny nose, sneezing, malaise) from 6 to 4 days.
Nasivin Classic does not contain any preservatives.
What are the indications for using Nasivin Classic?
Nasivin Classic is used for:
- swelling of the mucous membranes occurring in acute rhinitis,
- vasomotor rhinitis,
- allergic rhinitis,
- inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,
- inflammation of the auditory tube,
- inflammation of the middle ear.

How to dose Nasivin Classic?
Before use, read the leaflet, which contains indications, contraindications, data on adverse effects and dosage, and information on the use of the medicinal product, or consult a doctor or pharmacist, as any drug used improperly may threaten your life or health.
Nasivin Classic is intended for intranasal administration only (also in inflammation of the Eustachian tube and inflammation of the middle ear).
The medicine package should be used by only one person.
Nasivin Classic can only be used by adults and children over 6 years of age.
This medicine should not be used in infants and children under 6 years of age.
Adults and children over 6 years of age
- 1 dose of Nasivin Classic spray in each nostril 2 to 3 times daily.
- The medicine should not be used for longer than 5 to 7 days.
How to use:
The method of using the medicine is shown in the picture below. Before first use, press the pump several times to obtain the full dose.
Contraindications
When not to use Nasivin Classic:
- if you have dry rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucosa with the formation of crusts);
- if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
