Mufluil Hipertonic, 5 ml x 10 ampoules

Mufluil Hipertonic is a medical device in single-use ampoules, indicated in the treatment of respiratory diseases characterized by excessive production of thick and sticky secretions.

The indications for use  of Mufluil Hipertonic  are:

• acute bronchitis,
• chronic bronchitis and its complications,
• emphysema,
• cystic fibrosis,
• bronchiectasis,
• sinusitis,
• otitis media with effusion.

One 5 ml ampoule contains: 300 mg N-acetylcysteine, 150 mg sodium chloride. Excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, water for injection.

How to use

Mufluil Hipertonic can be used by:

• nebulization into the bronchial tree using an inhaler;
• direct instillation into the ears and/or nose;
• endobronchial administration via catheter or bronchoscope.

Dose

• Inhalation: nebulize one ampoule, 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days. The frequency and doses can be modified by the physician within a wide range, taking into account the clinical and therapeutic effect, without the need for significant differentiation of doses for adults and children.
• Instillation and rinsing of ears and other cavities: ½ ampoule or 1 ampoule per application.
• Endotracheobronchial administration: 1 ampoule per application, 1-2 times daily or as needed.

• This is a medical device. Use it according to the instructions for use or label.
• When opening the ampoule, Mufluil Hipertonic emits a sulfurous smell, which does not affect the use of the preparation in any way.
• The solution may occasionally turn pink in an open ampoule or nebulizer container, this does not affect the activity and tolerability of the preparation.
• Patients with bronchial asthma must be closely monitored during treatment. If bronchospasm occurs, N-acetylcysteine ​​should be discontinued immediately and appropriate therapy should be initiated.
• It is recommended to open the Mufluil Hipertonic ampoule just before use.
• If the solution has been mixed with other preparations, it should be used as soon as possible and not stored.
