Muconasin – characteristics
Muconasin nasal spray is a medical device containing 6% N-acetylcysteine solution and 3% hypertonic saline solution. Muconasin is indicated for the liquefaction and mechanical removal of mucous or mucopurulent secretions in the nasal cavity and inside the paranasal sinuses.
The product does not contain any preservatives.
How does Muconasin spray work?
Alleviates symptoms and course of acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract:
- acute, subacute and slowly resolving rhinitis,
- chronic and muco-thrombotic rhinitis,
- vasomotor rhinitis,
- acute and chronic sinusitis.
Muconasin – composition
N-acetylcysteine 1.8 g, sodium chloride 0.9 g. Excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, purified water.
How to use Muconasin spray?
Correct method of use: remove the protective cap, tilt your head slightly back, gently place the applicator into the nostril, press the base of the applicator with two fingers and spray 2-3 times. Repeat the procedure in the other nostril.
Muconasin – warnings
- This is a medical device. Use it according to the instructions for use or label.
- Store at room temperature (not above 25°C) away from light and heat sources.
- Muconasin nasal spray has a sulfur odor after spraying, which does not affect the properties of the preparation.
- Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the product ingredients.
- Prolonged use of topical products may lead to hypersensitivity; if such symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a physician.
- Using the same bottle by more than one person may facilitate the transmission of infections.
