What is Hederasal syrup and what effects does it have?
Hederasal syrup contains dry extract of ivy leaves, which has an expectorant and relaxing effect on the smooth muscles of the bronchi.
Hederasal syrup reduces the frequency and pain of coughing attacks. It dilutes the thick secretion in the throat, larynx and bronchi. It facilitates expectoration , soothes the cough reflex, does not block the cough reflex.
Indications for use of Hederasal syrup
Hederasal syrup is used in cough, especially with difficult expectoration of thick, retained secretions, and as an adjunct in inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and bronchi.

Composition

Dosage of Hederasal syrup
- Children aged 2 to 5 years – 2 to 3 times a day, measuring 2.5 ml or ½ teaspoon.
- Children aged 6 to 11 years – 2 times a day, 5 ml measuring cup or 1 teaspoon.
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over – 3 to 4 times a day, measuring 5 ml or 1 teaspoon.
- Hederasal syrup is administered orally.
- A measuring cup is included in the package.
- Take the syrup undiluted, with water.
If symptoms persist for more than one week during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Contents: The package contains 125 g of syrup.
