Description

Flegamina syrup with mint flavor without sugar facilitates expectoration and cleansing of the bronchi. The medicine does not contain sugar. Flegamina with mint flavor without sugar is indicated in acute and chronic respiratory diseases, occurring with disorders of expectoration and removal of mucus.

Flegamina syrup with mint flavor without sugar contains bromohexine hydrochloride, which has an expectorant effect and liquefies secretions from the respiratory tract.

Indications

Acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with impaired expectoration and removal
of mucus.

Active substance: Bromhexini hydrochloridum

Composition

5 ml of syrup contains:	4 mg bromhexine hydrochloride.
	Additionally, the medicine contains: liquid, non-crystallising sorbitol 70%, glycerol, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), levomenthol, eucalyptus-mint flavour, ethanol 96%, concentrated hydrochloric acid, patent blue (E 131), turmeric (E 100), purified water.

Dosage

Always use Flegamina Classic mint flavor sugar-free exactly as recommended in the leaflet. If in doubt, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral use.
The usual dose is:
Children aged 7 to 12 years: 5 ml (1 measuring spoon of syrup) 3 times a day.
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (2 measuring spoons of syrup) 3 times a day.
Do not take the medicine immediately before going to bed.

Contraindications

When not to use Flegamina Classic sugar-free mint flavor

if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bromhexine or any of the other ingredients of Flegamina Classic sugar-free mint flavour.
in children under 7 years of age because the medicine contains alcohol.

Notes on use

Flegamina with mint flavour without sugar contains ethanol 96%
The medicine contains ethanol 96% (alcohol), i.e. up to 174 mg per dose (5 ml of syrup = one measuring spoon), which is equivalent to approx. 4 ml of beer, approx. 1.67 ml of wine per dose (5 ml of syrup). Harmful to people with alcoholism. This should also be taken into account when using in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and in high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or with epilepsy, brain damage and mental illness.

Flegamina with mint flavour without sugar contains propyl parahydroxybenzoate.
The medicine contains propyl parahydroxybenzoate and may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed) and exceptionally bronchospasm.

Flegamina mint flavor sugar-free contains sorbitol
The medicine contains sorbitol (5 ml of syrup contains 2.1 g of sorbitol). If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, you should contact your doctor before taking this medicine. The medicine may have a mild laxative effect. Caloric value 2.6 kcal/g of sorbitol.

Contents: Flegamina with mint flavor without sugar is a light green, clear syrup with mint flavor and aroma, in a brown glass bottle, containing 120 ml of syrup, in a cardboard box. A measuring spoon is included in the package.

Storage method: 15°C – 25°C
