Envil cold contains two active substances: mepyramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride.
Mepiramine has antihistamine and antiallergic effects , and phenylephrine reduces congestion of the mucous membrane and clears the nose and sinus cavities. Additionally, the excipient cetalkonium chloride has antibacterial properties.
Envil catarrh relieves runny nose, unclogs the nose and sinuses, facilitates breathing and has antibacterial properties.
Indications
Envil catarrh is indicated in the treatment of:
- rhinitis (runny nose) in inflammation of the nasal mucosa, including rhinitis occurring in the case of allergy (sensitivity);
- sinusitis.

Dosage
The drug is administered intranasally.
The recommended dose is
Adults and children over 6 years of age:
- 2 sprays into each nostril every 4 to 6 hours.
Children under 6 years of age:
- The product should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
A single spray dose contains 0.15 mg of mepyramine maleate and 0.25 mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride.
Do not use this medicine more often than 5 times a day or for longer than 3 days.

Contraindications
When not to use Envil runny nose
- if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of the medicine;
- if you have allergic diseases (e.g. asthma) or sicca (dry nose);
- in children under 6 years of age;
- during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
