Indications:

Apap for children Forte oral suspension contains the active substance paracetamol. This substance is characterized by analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action of paracetamol is to block the production of prostaglandins in the central nervous system, which causes the inhibition of pain impulses. The suspension can also be used by adults and the elderly.

COMPOSITION

1ml contains 40mg of paracetamol.

Excipients:

• methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) – 0.68mg/ml,
• propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) – 0.12mg/ml,
• sucrose – 500mg/ml.
• citric acid monohydrate,
• sodium citrate,
• xanthan gum,
• purified water,
• orange flavour: natural flavours, artificial flavours,
• ethyl alcohol,
• butylhydroxyanisole (E320).

INDICATIONS

The medicinal product Apap for children Forte oral suspension is indicated for short-term, symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain. Recommended for children over 3 months of age.

ACTION

Apap for children Forte oral suspension contains the active substance paracetamol. This substance is characterized by analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action of paracetamol is to block the production of prostaglandins in the central nervous system, which causes inhibition of pain impulses.

DOSAGE

The basis for determining the drug dose is body weight. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg/kg/day divided into 4 or 6 doses per day, i.e. 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose. If there is no improvement or symptoms become more severe, contact your doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Not recommended for children under 3 months of age.
